The sum of particular team's total profits on the market is now displayed on the Team, Info window under Profit on the market, and below we added a new row that simply states whether the team is considered a daytrader by the system.
We would also like to point out that the amount of extra fees charged on the basis of profits on the market is directly proportional to the total profits on the market.
In connection with the new version, the following question arises quite often: When calculating the profit on the market, does the cost part include the team's expenses for signing bonuses of unrestricted free agents? No, it does not. The explanation is simple – these bonuses have to be paid in the same amount by non-traders as well, and they have to use their regular budget only (without profits on the market).
There were also accusations made that we are forbidding profit on the market. However, this is not true at all. Only, the team that generates profit on the market will have to think more wisely what it will use this profit for – whether only for purchase of expensive players or prolongations of their contracts, as it has been up to now, or for other services as well, such as player scouting, loyalty bonus or maybe more in the future.
It also needs to be specified, which players are included in the profit on the market.
Only the players who were acquired by the team on the market (free agents/unrestricted agents/purchased players) and then sold within 280 days from this acquisition are included. The profit includes only a proportional part of the gross profit – the sooner the team sells the player, the bigger part of the profit is included.
We also have an answer to the question of what influences the amount of the loyalty bonus. It is the team's economic level and the player's current loyalty.
Loyalty of players who are currently on the market cannot be changed and this relates both to positive and negative changes of loyalty.
