I would like some clarification on this change:
"Players with 0% potential can now keep the same potential (0%) for next few HA years, but it can happen for the last time when the player reaches the age 34. It can happen several times in succession for the same player."

1. Is this a random chance for each player or a new rule affecting all current players with 0 potential?
2. Does it mean that we will have 34 yo players with 0 potential?
3. Will we know beforehand what players with 0 potential will keep that potential or it will just be a lucky draw at the end of each season?

Thanks and maybe more questions will arise in this topic as I feel this is an important update.

As usual, we aren't getting all of the information we should be.

According to someone in the beta, every year at 0 potential you have a 10% chance of staying at zero. If true, this is a whole lot of nothing.

and what you excpected ? 10% of your players ? 20% ? or more ? only few players in real world plays little bit longer than others.. so few % from thousends is OK.

2. yes we will have 34yo player... in fact you can have 29yo player with 0%, then the same player in age 30 with 0% again ... till 34 years..
3. only small % from all players in HA with 0% potential.

I expected a clarification as to what was actually happening in this update, since, depending on what the answer is, it may affect personnel decisions as teams age.

If we're REALLY talking real world, then skill loss wouldn't really begin for good players until 35, maybe. Don't go 'the real world' example, because this game does a very poor job of that.

Yes i understand your point ...but take this , I suppose, as something what is
maybe not permanent ..in the next two seasons should come version 6 ...now,in this situation, Icko decided that this is something what is , let say, easy to implement into the system.

Honestly, to change it to real world potential wise would likely be simple, assuming the code isn't spaghetti.
Just add 2 years of potential to all players. MAX is now age 35, MAX -6 is 29.

Also, I am not bothered by the random nature of not losing potential, I just was curious - as I'm sure many others are - as to what the percentage is.

There's also the fact that pulling a good youth relies solely on randomness. And not all the training points go to the intended skill (so called residual training).
But I was referring more to the game as a whole. The game engine, for example, is too random for my liking.

yeah,i think, would be better to wait on new version 6 and new design... and to believe the game will be completely changed and redesign :)
