06.02.2014 - Upcoming physical forechecking change

Starting the next season we are preparing new features which will change the way the game engine uses the strength and speed of your players for the physical play in the games. Currently you set up each line's aggressiveness. In the future you will set up these lines "physical play". Players will use both strength and speed for their physical play - defenders and centers will use strenght as a primary attribute and speed as a secondary attribute. Speed will be used as primary attribute and strenght as secondary for wingers for physical play.
Selfcontrol will have direct influence on the number of penalties - no changes there.

The same as today physical play will influence the teams' dominance on the ice. But in the new version the physical play will influence players' fatigue too and penalties will be noticably higher with higher physical play.
Here is some example how it may look like, the numbers are subject to change:

Low
Energy Consumption: 95%
Physical game effectivness: 100%
Penalties: 90%

Medium
Energy Consumption: 100%
Physical game effectivness: 115%
Penalties: 105%

High
Energy Consumption: 105%
Physical game effectivness: 125%
Penalties: 130%

Hack & slash
Energy Consumption: 110%
Physical game effectivness: 130%
Penalties: 160%
