Hanusch 12:48:14, 20.12.20 introduced forcing the managers to adapt their strategies and be flexible and creative. If there were no major changes, we would after all these years just all play the same strategy. So jsut adapt yourself, find I way to successfully manage your team with loy-3 players. Find out how you can make this situation an advantage for you, be creative!

share your thoughts with us..;))

My thoughts:

Increasing the loyality causing another player to loose loyality. So get a player in your team for that reason and let him go once his lost all his loyality. Offcourse you need to be aware that he has the right age and that het gets enough icetime. You can also sent a player temporary to the U23 and avoid him to loose his loyality. You still need another player with enough icetime though. Manage the number of matches of a player. With only 19 matches he can't loose loyality.

Most simply is to get the Happy Servant jersey aswell and donate it to the player you want to increase.

So in the end by using this every season once and a lot of planning I can have 5 players from -3 to +3 and 1 franchise player. So yeah Hanusch it is manageable. And I will do so. But it used to be alot more and I can't recall a change was announced.

Thanks for this info William!

So if I understand correctly, in order for players to potentially be impacted negatively regarding their loyalty, they need to have played at least 20 games. Do they also need a minimum of 300 min of ice time? Are there any other criteria (like age, min Q, weeks in team, loyalty above -3, etc)? How much will their loyalty drop?

Also, if I understood correctly, sometimes there is no impact on other players when you upgrade someone's loyalty. Is that correct?

No there always has to be a player with more or less the same age and 20 matches and 300 minutes icetime and a better loyality then -3 to compensate with. (I am not exactly knowing the rules about age)

Only with the Happy Servant jersey there is no compensation needed. But you need the target player to be 50 weeks in your team before you can donate that jersey. Maybe that is the reason why players with unused jersey get offered for > 100M on the market.

FYI, very often people claimed that you can see which player is going to be the one which is loosing his Loy at one of the player's lists. Therewith, you could plan your loyalty changes.

Maybe some managers, who know about that, could share their insight 🙂

True it's possible to plan this. For the ranking order just check Players/Statistics or

In your case:

If Herminio Molina has > -3 loy and enough icetime and games he is 1st on the list to decrease his loyality. Next is Claudio Ott etc. But the age does also matter. I believe +1 or -1 age is needed a player to give compensation. But I have never tested that.

But if you want to "protect" your players by only playing them in 20 games, they will not gain much experience.

True and even more with that Jersey your player loose 30 Exp also. Dilemmas...

How much loyalty does the player impacted loose? Is it -1?

If no player meets the criteria (20 games, age, etc) then I guess no one will be impacted. Correct?

Concerning the experience loss, this could theoretically only be for 1 game (Assuming no injuries take place to the player who's loyalty you want to upgrade). You take the player you want to protect out of the lineup after 19 games, upgrade the player you want the next game and have the protected player back the game after.

I think the age is at least -2/+2. I base this on the player I saw that would decrease loyalty if I upgraded someone else. He is 2 years older.

It is.

No, if no player meets the criteria for compensation you get the message that the board doesn't allow the increase of loyality.

Activate the jersey before player hits free agency (10 days before contract ends) then deactivate it when the new contract have been signed? Repeat every season. Or am I wrong?

15:02:52, 22.12.20

lol

If you get more players you also need to consider the cooldown after each jersey been given. I won't be managing that (loosing 30 EXP is not so bad for me).

Does anyone actually know what the max age difference can be between the player who's loyalty you want to increase and the one being effected negatively? As mentioned I have seen a difference of 2 years (older) but will be crucial to know what it is exactly. Thanks

17:04:23, 25.12.20

i had in the past bigger difference as 2 years .. now i dont know :)
