Hi

When are the optimal time to dont pull a youth player, and wait for the season to end, so he can get the boost in youth academy?

And is there difference between when you should stop pulling 16 year olds up, and 17 years old?

Hi,

I'd recommend to pull 16y olds just in first or second week of the season. And only when you have really good training and regeneration facilities (at least 200+ both). You should also keep in mind, that pulling up 16y olds increases their loyalty by one point, but decreases their potential by one level.

In terms of 17y olds. The system counts the initial AI during the season according your training and junior facilities. If you have them on high level, it pays off to pull up the 17y olds during the last week in the season, ideally after the draft deadline, so they won't influence your draft standing.

If you pull a player at the end of the season that he is 17 years old, he will come out of youth school with less experience, than if you wait and pull him at the beginning of the season, when he has just turned 18 years old. Based on this, I would think, that it would be better to wait, and only pull him, when the next season starts. Or do you think he will come out of youth school with higher AI at the end of the season, when he is 17, than he will at the beginning of the season, when he is 18?

Yes, with high training and junior facilities (at least 200 both) 17y old will have better AI at the end of the season, than 18y old few days later at the beginning of the season.

Can you please explain this? As I was under seemingly a similar impression as Giraffoden, that the AI for players in YS would increase in a linear fashion throughout time based on the level of your training and YS but exp would only increase at the beginning of a new season making that the best time to pull.
