The topic exists but when you click it you only see "The post has been deleted"

I sold one of my juniors early this season or late previous season using transfers forums.

Yesterdays scout report gave me another good player that i saw better to sell now than train for myself.

I then tried to read the transfer rules but they were missing.

I vaguely remember that maybe one rule was something about only one post per season or something. But since the rule was missing only way i could think of to double check it was to search usernames that have made posts to see if anyone has spammed more than one... and on 1st page alone i found multiple people making multiple posts.

Soooo i put the player on market and made a new post.

Today logged in and was checking things... and now the player isn't on market anymore?

Also i can't find my post from transfer forum altho am not sure if it was deleted or if its because of a bug (currently "new (all) " button doesn't work on my browser.. i can click it but nothing happens... i opened few other forum posts and they do disappear from the list but there is no way for me to make them visible again).

If there indeed are rules maybe they should be visible? So please add them up again!

And maybe reconsider the multiple posts rule since this new player is causing some issues for me right now:

- so if i can't sell him by using transfer forums this season it means i have to train him
- since my training area isn't able to keep up with competitive managers this players value will drop anyway... also it seems like 17 year olds tend to be more expensive than 18 year olds anyway
- to be most effective he should play on line1 on junior team to lose least amount of value
- which means i have to replace one of my own trainees to 2nd line and someone from 2nd line to 3rd or to seniors... so my own players get less exp and maybe few less AI this season

So with this rule i am not only losing money i am losing progress with my own trainees i am planning to keep. The alternative would be to just try to sell him without a post but without shared details i don't think people will randomly buy multi million gamble.

And again: The rule wasn't even visible when i tried to make the trade happen. And there are multiple people breaking the rule. I see multiple other names on that forum appearing on 2 posts on 1st page alone (within 4 days range)... why was i impacted when those others weren't?

Please at very least make rules clearer. Better if you could make it more flexible in cases where midseason you scout a future star... this doesn't feel good to be limited like this. Maybe allow 1 post per new player & 1 post per week or something? But only one post per season where you should be listing all players u are going to sell is very limiting (was that the rule? i wish i could double check it..... but i can't cuz its "deleted" ? )

When you see your post, next time when you check it or next day to post something new there or new post, go under "see all post" or something like that and you will saw it again.

My browser is messing up this site for some reason and i don't have such button/link to click to.

I see "New (All) " on top right corner on top bar but clicking that doesn't do anything.

I even opened few top posts on 2 different sub-forums (this one and transfers) and the new ones do go hiding. But clicking the new/all link doesn't make them appear again no matter if i just click it nor do they appear if i right click and open the link in new tab.

But again: that wasn't the main issue. The 2 bigger issues are/were:

1) the message listing rules for transfers forums show deleted message. This was essentially the main reason i made the post at all (its the issue in the title afterall)
2) for some reason my market listing was missing (there is a low chance i just forgot to click "ok" after inputting price and clicking "confirm"... but would be weird that i'd forget the most important guy i wanted to sell and remembered to click "ok" after "confirm" on all the other 80+ quality guys i also put to list.... i didn't take screenshot but i also remember seeing the 95-quality on list before i went to sleep.. but again low chance that i just thought i saw what i wanted to see.. so this might had been me-issue but i do think its weird how i'd make a mistake for the star player and even mess out the double-check after.. thus i believe that the guy was removed from listings overnight for some reason)

Nobody is checking transform forum to punish or remove players from market. I don't think anyone can actually do that. That forum is not that relevant.

Your player most likely just wasn't bought by anyone and returned to your team because I don't see any player you have that would have any market value. For example, you have Eemeli Havukainen, id 48009074 in market. This player have 42% value compared to best player in his age by AI. It's very low. And would cost something only if he had close to max potentional and quality but not much.

Actually it is opposite, your training facilities are quite good - 220/220, but you are training players who are coming out from your youth school which is only 61%.

You are robbing yourself by training players which have huge AI disadvantage from the beginning.

I think you could be actually pretty competitive manager if you instead trained players who are coming out of 200+ youth school teams. You can buy them for cheap or you should improve your youth school to at least 200 and then train these players.

and you might be correct about the overall values starting low but i have done my math.. the difference with starting someone at 40 AI or 90 AI makes very little difference in the end.. i can train only one line to reach 450-500 AI towards end of their careers per "cycle".. so it wouldn't matter much if i used the ones i get from drafts and round it up by 90+ quality players from youth academy... there are few 2nd liner players that reach close to 450 but currently not enough to make 2 full lines

rest of the lines i fill up with youths between 84-89 quality and -2 or better potential who i either train to sell (usually non-natives) or train to fill lines 2, 3 and possibly 4th line if i want one

like... i do excel sheet update at the start of every season and the math pretty much always ends up to similar numbers

my 1st line is starting to reach age of 27 where players dropped their training to more predictable levels, calculations for season 109 i estimated my wingers to reach 412 and 411 AI when they'd drop to 0 potential

now 5 seasons later i see that my math was close: 413 was pretty spot on, the other guy was only slightly higher 438 which is because i upgraded my training area (the other guy was -3.. he had 98 quality and 5+ seasons ago i just learned the differences for potential with calculations... i assumed he was decent player so i already had trained him quite a bit before training... also his surname matched really well with the other 98 quality star so i wanted to keep them paired.. so eventually the -3 halved his training sooner than -1 who with better area gained huge lead i didn't have in original calculations) and extra minutes he gets from PK lines which i didn't account for when these 2 were promoted from u-23 team to seniors

i barely generate any income right now so i can't afford:
+ better youth academy
+ buying players even if it gave me +50ish AI
+ the SALARIES of these higher AI players
+ the BONUS for them most likely being non-natives making them quite a lot more expensive compared to my own youths

Once my team starts competing and i can perform bit better at higher division (reach playoffs and not demote i guess would be great line) then i can start putting money into those things. But right now i have to build my team slowly, focus on my own pulls&draft and especially keep salaries low so i can generate any money for future purchases.

I have played manager games long enough to know how to avoid pitfalls, i experiemented a bit in hockeyarena by buying old farts which gave me promotion to division above but my team kept losing every match up there & teams with better arenas stole best sponsors so i realized i actually make more money on division below. Then i started to get enough what i tought were decent u-23 players so i created that team & focused on it along with budget (only few seasons later when i started to calculate their final AI i then learned that almost all my players weren't gonna reach even 350 AI... the defender i gave most playtime was -6 pot lol... cuz i focused so much on quality.. it being 96 made me think he was a great player for my team lol... rough lesson when you see him being 2nd last on "prime AI" list even if i gave him most minutes xD )

So yeah, thanks for the tips. Generally they'd make sense. But according to my math it doesn't isn't financially the best move now.

Thus when i get players with 90 or better quality combined -2 or better potential - if i don't have a spot for them in my 1st line i just sell them.

when i woke up i only saw 5 players - the guy with highest starting price was missing

your guess doesn't make sense cuz i don't have supporter on right now... thus minimum time i can put player for sale is 24 hours... if you checked other players i have on sale you would had noticed when their deadlines were

and then if you checked when i made this post it was before 24 hours was reached

and you thus should had concluded that something was off

after i made the post i put the youngster on sale again.. you even talked about him... eemeli havukainen... thats the guy that i put on sale last night that wasn't on sale this morning after i woke up....

and on my previous reply i did admit that there is slight chance that it was my own mistake just not pressing last "ok" after the "confirm" altho to me it would be weird that i'd forget to press that for the main guy when i did remember to press it for 5 others... and i think i even saw all 6 players listed on market page...

Because no-one needs them. That forum is self sustaining. People post ads for their players and people look at ads to buy them. If there is some technical requirement how often you can post, you will not be allowed to post by system and you will see error message.

I was pretty sure that with your approach you not only have worse players but you will be struggling financially. Anyway, like you said - thats different topic, but im always happy to help in private messages.

Yeah, I saw now, I don't see any rules either. If there's no rules, there can't be any punishment either. Maybe thats why Trsto lost GM, maybe anything is allowed now.

Official game rules are in external website which is only in Slovakian. A lot of new features or changes are posted only in Slovakian forum.
