24.12.2006 - Aggressiveness effectivity explanation

New statistical indicator was added to the match report yesterday - a percentage value of the effectiveness of aggressiveness (Aggr). Here is a little explanation of its meaning:

A team can gain some dominance over its opponent by effective body checking, this depends on the strength of the team's players and the setting of aggression for each of its lines. The effectiveness of aggressiveness in the match report measures the success level of gaining the puck by body checking the opponent and imploying over all physical play.
Examples:
50% means that the number of gained pucks by body checking is equal to the pucks lost by opponents body checking.
80% means that a line gained 80% of all pucks that were gained by body checking. In other words - if the total number of pucks gained by body checking was 10, this line had 8 of them.

Penalties aren't included in this indicator, they will have their own indicator in a few days.
