As has been promised for some time, we are launching of our new and improved Match Broadcast feature. This broadcast will include general information about penalties, pulling the goalie and line changes. We will further improve this broadcast with info about unsuccessful actions and face-offs. This is being worked on in beta. You will be able to view the new match broadcast directly from the Calendar page by clicking on the icon labeled "Live match broadcast“.
This project is a result of some great work by our developer mustafa, which we greatly appreciate. We must also thank all translators who have worked on this translation and also our beta-testers for their work on bug detection.
The whole site has been converted into the UTF-8 symbol set, which enables the correct displaying of all unique national characters all at once. It is possible, though, that the conversion hasn't been executed perfectly in some specific situations. As such, we’ve made it possible for all managers to change stadium and team names.
We‘d recorded new player name databases for these countries: Lithuania, Portugal, Netherlands, Canada, Russia, Denmark, Finland, USA, Slovakia, France, Hungary and Slovenia (new players will accordingly be picked from these databases). We thank all national support team leaders (LDRs) and their assistants for their work in creating these databases.
We have lowered the minimum cash limit from the current –30 000 000 to –50 000 000. As always, if you exceed this limit then bankruptcy will follow and your account will be blocked. However, managers will now have exactly three logins to correct this problem, up from the previous allowance of one login.
Teams can spend money down to –15 000 000 (in the older version it was –14 000 000), except for automatic matters, such as player salaries, background and stadium expenses.
The sponsor pack calendar history page has been extended with a simple statistical team comparison.
Please also prepare your teams for another upcoming change: the minimum number of players in the team will be increased from the current 16 to 17. Be forewarned: managers will be sacked by their team if the team has less than 17 players. This change will take effect beginning September 10th!
