Today we start to train our 18s roster for WC84,our opponents will do the same,so it is interesting to watch this game.

World Cup 84 Review
Srbija was 100% underdog on this tournament and our result (12th place) was minimum required but almost maximum achievable.
Last several cycles we have weak generations because of several reasons:
1) no B-teams in Srbija
2) reduced number of active Serbian managers
3) reduced number of good Serbian players from drafts (as a result of reason 2)
4) reduced average ice-time of U20 Serbian players (shame on all of us!)
In this situation we can do only 3 things, that can help:
1) give max ice-time (25-30 min) to all good U20 Serbian players
2) play only Serbian youngsters in our clubs, not foreigners
3) start building B-teams in other countries as farm-clubs to give max ice time to maximum number of Serbian U20 players
In this cycle our team work was good. Many managers tried their best in playing Serbian players, followed training plans, kept their form at almost excellent level through WC games, and give huge help in scouting.
This was a big work but it is not enough in current circumstances to build strong U20 team.
What we can do for it? Look 1,2,3! :)
