Hi All,
I haven't been playing this game much in the last 6 months or so. I guess 9years is my limit. I'm not quitting the game entirely, but I haven't been regularly logging in so there may come a point where I just get fired.
Before that happens, just wanted to thank all of you for the competition over the seasons.
When I first started this game, I didn't think I would like it because I was expecting it to be like a different type of hockey simulator. I enjoyed building up teams from scratch and seeing how far they could go. Being the commish of the YGT for a few seasons was fun too, but as I started pulling back from the game I felt guilty of not putting as much time into the weekly updates.
I'll still be hanging around. My goal is to naturally let my current team sell off via free agency and then my focus will be on building out a homegrown team in the hopes of being able to find some good Canadian players. (Not a rebuild like previous years). I'm not planning on selling anyone ahead of their free agency, but I suppose if the offer is high enough I may consider putting them on the market with that minimum.

Hey Caes, hope that fire comes back one day. You single-handedly kept Team Canada alive for a few years by developing so many players for us. There are very few of us left, as the interest in browser based games diminishes and I don't really ever see interest every increasing to where the game was 10 years ago....but that's just the world of apps taking over. There will always be something unique and intriguing about HA for those of us who enjoy numbers and fairly deep game play. Hope to see you continue even if it's not daily.

I'm sad to see that you are leaving, but I know that in life there are always changes.
Thank you so much for your help during the YGT. I've experienced, I believe, the same guilt on the updates as I pulled back from the game.

Hey! It's been. A pleasure battling your team over the years. I hope the burns rekindles inside you at some point. I always felt HA was just a relaxing game that you could spend a ton or a little time playing each day. All the best in the future!
This damned game...
I’ve been distracted lately. Not playing as intently as before. Starting to scale back, already dropped one U23 team, thinking about dropping the B team all together...
So what does HA do? Fill my YS with good players... 94/max, 97/max-1, 90/Max-2, 90/Max-2 and a top three draft pick in a draft with 3 studs available...
And just like that I have to keep playing.
Haha oh ya HA always offers a glimmer of hope when you need it most. It's a sign u better stick around.

Well, I'm glad to see most of the players I recently listed at least sold to Canadian teams. I played this game years ago - lost interest and dropped out for a few years. I tried to make a comeback, but I just can't regain the interest i once had - which is too bad, since I had the makings of probably my best player ever on this squad. Anyway, the expiry of my 1 year sponsor pack seals the deal for me. I retire with almost 900 million in the bank. Such a waste.

I'm back (maybe), sorry for bumping an old post, but figured this would be easier to explain. My ID is different because I used google sign-up instead of my old ID (Caesar54). I accidentally let my account expire in early 2022.
Got curious as to how the game has changed in the 1.5yrs I've been away. Seems like we are down even more divisions now. Hoping NAT and U20 are crushing it!
I'm going to login and play around, see how long it takes me to build up the stadium (I truly hope it doesn't take as long as the first time) to start pumping out some nice U20s, but I am not sure I will stay around yet.

Welcome back! Very little development, it's pretty much the same usual suspects at the top of most tournaments due to 0 enforcement of illegal transfers. Due to these things most people just have their teams on autopilot.
