Does anyone know if the likelihood of +3 players was going to be tweaked given that they got rid of the loyalty increase option? I noticed that +3 players seemed more common before that change (many seasons ago) and I (somehow) just noticed two of my better young prospects, both on the U20 team, are both +3 loyalty. That would have been unimaginable not long ago.
Was there a change or did I just get insanely lucky?

There was a change. I wanna say about 4 seasons ago. +3s were impossible to get from the draft, but icko changed it so u can get +3s from the draft now as well.

I see, so you could still get +3's from your Youth School, but not the draft. Which is why they were so much more difficult to get.

I think it must be a change because I have been getting crazy luck too. I have 6 players age 18-21 that are 90q+ with minimum -2 P that have at least 70% overall (including a 93/max 86% goalie), plus several more mid 80s Q/max P +3 loyalty guys that will probably make up most of by bottom line someday.
Very good UFAs might start to get rarer and way more expensive in like 6-7 seasons once this crop of youth comes of age. There could be a lot of managers out there saving tons of money with +3 guys and dropping them on the UFA market.
If that is the case it will make the U23 teams far more important to success.
