of course, why would you do for a worse one, but there are situations where a better one is still available but you cannot change. i plan a 2 round draft per season, but maybe this could be a quick fix for 2 players per season.
Why would better one be available?
That can happen only if you don't scout players or if you don't order draft correctly.
Isn't that the point of scouting draft? This "feature" is just for people who didn't prepared for draft.
If you could pick 1 additional player from these who are not chosen in draft, then it would make some sense but current way is pointless.
I hope there are clear warning or chance to switch back to original draft player, so some people who want to test this feature won't accidentaly lose their picked players. Im too afraid to test :D

As izy said, its a manager's fault that he is not using scouting properly. So if someone scouts right, there will be no problem to get 2 players :D
not really, not every season you have all players scouted perfectly, and if you do, even from some lower pick positions, then you are wasting scouting attempts.
What about giving names back to the players before they’re drafted? Why was this feature originally removed? Apologies if this was explained somewhere previously but I was away from the game for awhile.

ppl sharing scouting information with friends in the league

You still have 16-20 unscouted players to pick from, so you will need to waste scouting attempts anyway if you decide to pick some players after draft.
Only people who can greatly win is people who share draft information from same league.
Imagine, i have bad draft position, i don't scout anything. After draft, some friend who scouted draft, see that there are great 15y player who haven't been picked. Now I just need to scout few players to find and pick this player.
I see, this feature can be used by some people, but i don't think these are the players who should be rewarded by their lazyness, economy or sharing draft information :D

even lazy ppl can play and support a game. the less lazy still keep some advantage though.

If the names were visible, It would be easy to cooperate with others, you scout these, I scout others.
I don't think it's a bad idea that after the draft (for example one day) there would be another round of the remaining players.
I don't know how many good players all you guys have in your leagues, but in all Slovenian leagues it's impossible to get good player even if you are drafting 5th or 6th, so second round definitely wouldn't make too much sense.

Yes, 'Switch' is a better word here than 'Pick'
I did not pull anybody on Tuesday (i forgot) but today I chose one, so it was not “switch”, it was “pick” :D

Yeah good point. Switching is the only fair option. Or, eventually double round draft.
