It’s very inaccurate and I don‘t pay much attention to it. Also the quality and potential blaues are very inaccurate. So the best way to go is by scouting.

Yes, that is correct. You can only scout the quality and the potential in the youth school. If you scout these two values, you will be able to see, which of the players are the better ones and then you don't need to focus on the ai - as it will "follow" the combination of quality and potential.

For example I have currently player shown Quality 65 (which is very poor) and so far scouted that he must be over 91. Also in Youth school +/- 20 is not rare difference, but little bit closer. If he is under 70 and I fire him he has never appeared to be 80+.But there are players shown 84-85 that might be some 66 only.

And AI is maybe least relevant one of them.
